I hope you can join us on next Saturday, July 18th for the Walkerton Farmer's Market. From 9:00AM - 12:00PM local farmers will have fresh, locally grown produce, flowers, canned goods, baked goods and USDA chicken and beef available. Come out to Walkerton Landing and join your neighbors for this fun event. Admission is free. Not only will you get exceptional taste and freshness from buying locally grown products, you'll strengthen our local economy, support endangered family farms and protect the environment.
The Walkerton Farmer's Market is sponsored by King and Queen Community Development as part of our mission to promote local economic opportunities and foster community spirit. There are a limited number of vending opportunities still available. Please call our office at 804-769-9656 or send an email to info@kqcd.org to register as a vendor. No registration required to attend.
The Walkerton Farmer's Market will be held the third Saturday, in July, August and September.
